Who is it for?
It ain’t everyone’s cup of tea, that’s for sure. This book is more of a character-driven adventure that happens to fall within the fantasy genre. It lacks dragons, magical swords, elves, etc. There is far less action than something like Lord of the Rings. Besides being a portal fantasy, you might like it if you’re into the genres Historical Fantasy, Adventure Fantasy, or Grimdark. My wife tells me it’s for men in general, and women who read these genres regularly. It contains language and themes that might offend anyone who isn’t pretty thick-skinned. And it is 768 print pages long.
